Mythical creatures

Create a range of fantastic 3D mythical creatures and their habitat during this imaginative four days. Ideal for children who like making things!

Techniques covered will include:

• Colour theory
• Modelling
• 3D work
• Working with mixed media

There will be an exhibition each Thursday at 3.50pm.

Tutor: Chris Avis

With 25 years experience of working in the UK and US as a Professional Model maker, Chris has worked closely with a variety of designers, architects and art directors. Trained at the Kent Institute for Art and Design, his creative work includes advertisements, exhibitions and models for the Science and British Museums. As well as lecturing at a number of universities, Chris is involved in the Design Council initiative: Designers into Schools. He has spent a number of years sourcing and developing the non-toxic modelling material (dough-light) that the children will use during this course.
