Film Making: 11-16 years
Easter Week 8th-11th April
Four full days 10am-4pm
£230 Including all equipment
This hands-on course will cover the basics of film-making –
writing (storyboard), lighting, sound, directing and editing.
Students will work in small crews whilst making their film and each
individual will have the opportunity to experience each role in the team.
At the end of the week there will be a screening of the completed work for family and friends.
We supply everything you need to participate in this course including camcorders, tripods, editing software and memory sticks.
Each child will be able to take home a copy of their film on a flash drive, in the chance of technical issues the we will co-ordinate the delivery of the flash drive after the course is completed.
Tutor: Bryn Rolton
Bryn Rolton Graduated from Kent University with a degree in Drama & Film. He has a passion for making and analysing film and enjoys every aspect of the craft from constructing a story board through to editing the final cut. Bryn has considerable experience of running Film workshops for teenagers and enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students.
